Altuve Ardilla, 31, was recovered from the water at Springs Recreation Park.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"570\" height=\"212\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-85-png.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-60670\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-85-png.avif 570w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-85-300x112.avif 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Altuve Ardilla was last seen riding a Jet Ski at the park which is on the Lee County, Hendry County line near Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Multiple agencies searched for Altuve Ardilla Sunday evening until calling off the search at sundown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The search resumed with divers in the water Monday morning, with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office (LCSO) assisting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LCSO said they sent their marine unit and dive team to use underwater drones in efforts to find him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lazy Springs is a popular park where people ride UTVs, jet skis, and kayaks. FWC is investigating, and LCSO is assisting as they work to search for the jet skier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HCSO said this is an active investigation, and no further information is available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A missing man last seen on a Jet Ski at a park in Hendry County Sunday was found dead Monday morning.
