After retiring in 1964, he relocated to Florida, where he has resided ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 29 December 2024, following the passing of 110-year-old&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/longeviquest.com\/supercentenarian\/eugene-baltes\/\">Eugene Baltes<\/a>&nbsp;of Illinois, Martin became the oldest known living man in the United States.
