UPDATE: Firefighters were able to recover the flag from the sanctuary. It’s soaked, but not damaged.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

An investigator from the Florida Bureau of Fire, Arson & Explosives Investigations is on the scene. They will work with our investigators to determine the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n

UPDATE: The fire is now under control. Firefighters will be busy with mop-up operations. Investigators will enter the building once it is safe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are working an active structure fire at 1430 Homestead Rd (Christ at Crossroads Church). PIO is en route, and more information will be provided when available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire crews are working to extinguish the flames after responding to a 2-alarm fire at the Christ at the Crossroads Church at 1430 Homestead Road N in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lehigh Acres Fire, Fort Myers Fire, and South Trail Fire crews responded to the incident at 5:43 PM Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
