Those counties witnessed a drop in overdose deaths, but all the remaining counties outside the twelve, seen an actual increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific to Fentanyl related use, overdoses killed 6,466 people here in Florida. That was an increase of 81 more deaths from the year previous. This, according to a report from the Florida examiners released on January 25 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 report was not released until January of this year as DeSantis was campaigning for the presidential race as a Republican party candidate. The full Florida medical examiners\u2019 final report showed 3% overall drop in overdose deaths, but an actual rise in Fentanyl overdose deaths during Ron DeSanti\u2019s run for president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total across America during 2022, more that 100,000 Americans died of drug doses according to the CDC, mostly due to Fentanyl drug use.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that Florida\u2019s overall death from overdoses dropped, but some lethal drugs are on the rise?
