{"id":59005,"date":"2023-11-28T15:42:44","date_gmt":"2023-11-28T20:42:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=59005"},"modified":"2023-11-28T15:42:50","modified_gmt":"2023-11-28T20:42:50","slug":"did-you-know-190","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2023\/11\/did-you-know-190\/","title":{"rendered":"Did you Know?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Paul Waldmiller<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that three of Florida\u2019s airports are ranked near the bottom of the \u201cbest\u201d list?<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/November-28-2023-Did-You-Know-PHOTO.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59006\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The Wall Street Journal recently released their 2023 airport rankings where they measured reliability, value, and convenience of America\u2019s 50 busiest airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the large airports category, the Orlando airport placed near the bottom out of 20, at number 17. Fort Lauderdale at number 16, and Miami International Airport at number 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ranking for each of the 50 airports was facilitated through use of government data, a survey by Dynata, and other sources looking at thirty different factors that can impact a trip, such as purchasing an airline ticket to arriving at the destination. The Wall Street Journal then averaged the overall score based on two factors, reliability and value and convince. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly in February of this year, Travel Lens, an online travel publication, listed Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers as the best and number 1 ranked airport in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For travel tips on how to navigate your way through any airport within the U.S. The Transportation Security Administration offers free tips on their website, https:\/\/www.tsa.gov\/travel\/travel-tips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that three of Florida\u2019s airports are ranked near the bottom of the \u201cbest\u201d list?
