The district will provide an update about August 30th by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Myers Beach\u2019s grand re-opening of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=681725873989612&amp;set=a.241013158060888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Little League Ball Field at Bay Oaks Recreational Campus<\/a>&nbsp;was canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FSWCollege\/status\/1696258313015738800?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Florida Southwestern State College (FSW)&nbsp;<\/a>campuses and locations will be closed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will be switching to remote classes on Tuesday. FGCU will announce operational plans for Wednesday by 3 PM Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Hodges University buildings will be closed on Tuesday. A decision will be made on Tuesday regarding operational plans for Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee County government offices and the Florida Department of Health in Lee County will be closed Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oasis Charter Schools and Canterbury School will be closed Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trash Pick-Up:&nbsp;Curbside garbage collections will continue on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parks and recreational centers:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J.N. \u201cDing\u201d Darling National Wildlife Refuge will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 29 until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community events:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Disaster Recovery &amp; Resilience Resource Fair has postponed the event until further notice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lee County Schools will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 29.
