Deputies are seeking information on two armed, masked subjects caught on camera robbing a grocery store.<\/p>\n\n\n

The two thieves remain at large, Monday. They targeted the Carniceria Y Taqueria Monterrey Grocery Store, located at 1505 Gretchen Avenue S. in Lehigh Acres, that morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detectives with the Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office said the men, one of whom was wielding a firearm, entered the store just before 11:30 a.m. and demanded cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brandon Artega ran to the scene after getting a call from his mother that several shots had been fired in the store.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cI was home,\u201d he said. \u201cShe was shopping, and she called me scared and said, they\u2019re robbing the store, and I said, what? And \u2026 I came out running from my house, come over here and found out that two people came in and shot a couple times and said, put your hands up everybody drop down to the floor, and from what I\u2019m hearing no one got hurt, thank God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crime Stoppers have not confirmed whether shots were fired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both men were wearing masks and gloves during the robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
