As a result, voters who plan to vote by mail in 2024 must submit a new request to the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/vote_by_mail_ballot-1024x555.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55874\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe change in the law marks an unprecedented event for our office. We have a significantly low number of Vote-by-Mail requests compared to previous years,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;says Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle.&nbsp;<em>\u201cOur office began a proactive campaign earlier this year ahead of the 2024 election cycle in our effort to inform voters of this change and ensure voting accessibility for all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voting by mail is a safe, secure, and convenient voting method. Voters are encouraged to act now and submit their Vote-by-Mail requests before the 2024 election cycle to ensure their voices are heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vote-by-Mail Ballot requests can be made&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.vote\/Vote-by-Mail\/Vote-by-Mail-Information\/Request-a-Vote-by-Mail-Ballot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>online<\/em><\/a>, by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.vote\/Vote-by-Mail\/Vote-by-Mail-Contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>mail<\/em><\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.vote\/Vote-by-Mail\/Vote-by-Mail-Contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>email<\/em><\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.vote\/Vote-by-Mail\/Vote-by-Mail-Contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>fax<\/em><\/a>, or in person at any&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.vote\/Contact-Us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>branch office location<\/em><\/a>.
