A bullet pierced through a man\u2019s car on Monday after his life was threatened during a love triangle dispute in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office (LCSO), the bullet went through the victim\u2019s rear driver-side door.<\/p>\n\n\n

The victim said it all started when he was parked off the side of the road on Owen Avenue South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim told deputies he recognized a silver Mercedes Sedan parked a few yards in front of him and thought he saw his ex-girlfriend. The Mercedes took off right after the victim attempted to get close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim followed the Mercedes driving westbound on SR-82. After following for a few blocks, the Mercedes pulled over. The victim saw his ex-girlfriend in the passenger seat and her new boyfriend was in the driver\u2019s seat. The victim told deputies his ex-girlfriend\u2019s new boyfriend was the man his girlfriend cheated on him with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the victim pulled up, the driver drew a gun and threatened to kill him. The victim ducked his head to protect himself and one shot was fired \u2014 the bullet piercing through the rear side door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCommon sense is to communicate but how easy is that to do nowadays?\u201d questioned Precious Crockett after hearing about this incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNext time take a couple deep breaths and think before you react,\u201d is the advice Crockett gives to the world to avoid dangerous situations like these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
