The is a central focal point and identity to the Lehigh Acres community and was left tattered for some time; we asked the county to give our agency the sign for ownership and maintenance and the transfer was completed on March 15, 2022, The Board felt it best to make immediate minor improvements while discussing what to do long term. Several public meetings were held, and social media polls and surveys were conducted to see how the sign should be improved upon long term.
