{"id":57200,"date":"2023-02-14T09:43:47","date_gmt":"2023-02-14T14:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=57200"},"modified":"2023-02-14T09:43:54","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T14:43:54","slug":"did-you-know-152","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2023\/02\/did-you-know-152\/","title":{"rendered":"Did you Know?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Paul Waldmiller<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that the Florida Legislature just last week passed a bill allowing use of your tax money for human trafficking?<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"637\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Vineyard-flight-nbc.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57201\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Members of the Florida House voted 77-34 last Friday to approve SB-6B. The state Senate passed the same bill earlier in the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill would create an \u201cUnauthorized Alien Transport Program\u201d to relocate Illegal Immigrants if they have been processed by the federal government. Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to sign the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill gives Florida law enforcement authorities the power to transport those with \u201cdocumentation from the United States Government indicating that the United States Government processed and released him or her into the United States without admitting the individual in accordance with the federal Immigration and Nationality Act.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once signed into law, DeSantis will have the authority to move Illegal Immigrants, not return illegals to their home countries, but instead, to \u201csanctuary cities\u201d in Democrat Party controlled states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some political pundits believe that DeSantis pushed legislators to pass this bill as he may be seeking the 2024 Republican Party endorsement to run for President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flood of Illegal Aliens to the state of Florida under Joe Biden has only increased and as well, continues to place our state ranked third-worst in the nation for human and sex trafficking according to the Human trafficking Hotline.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that the Florida Legislature just last week passed a bill allowing use of your tax money for human trafficking?
