However, the suit says it takes more time to complete the other required steps, as reported by NBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is how the lawsuit describes the cooking process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cFirst, consumers must \u2018REMOVE lid and Cheese Sauce Pouch.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, they must \u2018ADD water to fill line in cup. STIR.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Third, \u2018MICROWAVE, uncovered, on HIGH 3-1\/2 min. DO NOT DRAIN.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, they should \u2018STIR IN contents of cheese sauce pouch.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defendant then notes that \u2018CHEESE SAUCE WILL THICKEN UPON STANDING\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cConsumers seeing \u2018ready in 3\u00bd minutes\u2019 will believe it represents the total amount of time it takes to prepare the product,\u201d the suit states. \u201cMeaning from the moment it is unopened to the moment it is ready for consumption.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramirez bought the product for a \u201cpremium price\u201d of $10.99 \u201cbetween October and November 2022, among other times,\u201d the lawsuit claims.
