The school sold t-shirts designed by a current patient, 7-year-old Jahely Martinez, and on Sept. 23 students and staff wore their shirts to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>At the afternoon pep rally, several teachers, coaches, and football players had their heads shaved by current and former Golisano patients. Jahely was one of them, and she also led the team out onto the field for a Riverdale football game, was part of the coin toss, and joined the cheerleaders on the sideline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Riverdale administrators and teachers, wearing their t-shirts, surprised Jahely at Golisano and presented the hospital with a check for $6,700.
