Officers arrived and found Miguel Olan Lopez, 18, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, Lopez died from his injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Lopez died, FMPD homicide detectives took on the investigation, interviewing witnesses and collecting video and other evidence from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the investigation was happening, detectives were able to establish probable cause to arrest Lynch. A warrant was subsequently granted for Lynch\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, U.S. Marshals, FMPD detectives and Lee County Sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested Lynch in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynch is in custody at the Lee County Jail and faces charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man arrested in Lehigh Acres on Tuesday faces charges including second-degree murder.
