In August 2020, the Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to a complaint about a past occurred sex crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A child told her mother that her babysitter\u2019s boyfriend, later identified as Feria, had touched her and her sister inappropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The children\u2019s mother found the babysitter on Facebook. The children were being dropped off to her home for several months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation determined the defendant had molested both little girls on several occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant State Attorney Christine Cummins prosecuted the case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alexander Feria, 50, of Lehigh Acres, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced, for crimes against two children.
