Southeastern Caribbean Sea:\nSatellite wind data and surface observations indicate that an area \nof low pressure has formed in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, though \nthe associated shower and thunderstorm activity remains \ndisorganized. The environment is forecast to become more conducive \nfor development, and a tropical depression is likely to form in the \nnext day or so. The low is forecast to move west-northwestward and \nbe over the central Caribbean Sea this weekend where conditions are \nexpected to be conducive for additional development.  Locally heavy \nrainfall and gusty winds are likely to affect the Windward Islands, \nnorthern Venezuela, and the ABC island chain today. These impacts \nare likely to spread to northeastern Colombia later this evening.  \nInterests in Jamaica should closely monitor the progress of this \nsystem.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent.\n* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.\n\n2. Eastern Tropical Atlantic:\nShowers and thunderstorms located near the west coast of Africa are \nassociated with a tropical wave that has emerged over the warm \nwaters of the far eastern Atlantic.  Environmental conditions are \nforecast to be conducive for some development, and a tropical \ndepression could form by this weekend while the system moves slowly \nnorthward, between west Africa and the Cabo Verde Islands. \n* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent.\n* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent.\n\n3. East Central Tropical Atlantic:\nA broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles \nwest-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce \ndisorganized showers and thunderstorms.
