They are currently investigating the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a message from Principal Dr. Brian Gibson, he informed families that a weapon was displayed and that school administrators immediately intervened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is his statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good afternoon Bruin family,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to follow up with additional details from this afternoon\u2019s incident in the cafeteria. The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office recently released this statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This afternoon, detectives with our Youth Services Division arrested a 12-year-old female student at Lehigh Acres Middle School.
