Central Tropical Atlantic:\nA broad and elongated area of low pressure is located over the \ncentral tropical Atlantic Ocean.  Although the associated shower \nand thunderstorm activity has increased somewhat since yesterday, \nit currently lacks organization.  Environmental conditions are \nexpected to be generally conducive for gradual development, and a \ntropical depression is likely to form later this week while moving \ntoward the west and then west-northwest at around 10 mph, toward the \nwaters east of the Leeward Islands.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent.\n* Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent.\n\n2. Central Atlantic:\nA small low pressure system located about 600 miles east of Bermuda\ncontinues to produce occasional, disorganized shower activity.  \nStrong upper-level winds and dry air are expected to limit \nsignificant development of this system while it meanders over the \ncentral Atlantic during the next few days, and the low is likely to \ndissipate by midweek.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.\n* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent.\n\n3. Northwestern Caribbean Sea:\nA trough of low pressure could develop over the northwestern \nCaribbean Sea during the middle part of this week.  Environmental \nconditions could support some slow development of the system \nthereafter while it moves generally west-northwestward over the \nnorthwestern Caribbean Sea and toward the Yucatan Peninsula of \nMexico. \n* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.\n* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.\n\n4. Eastern Tropical Atlantic:\nA tropical wave is forecast to move off the west coast of Africa \nMonday or Monday night.
