<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nRevelation 13: 7-8 \u201cAnd it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n A very popular TV show in the 1980\u2019s was The A-Team. One of the stars, George Peppard, had a favorite statement: \u201cI love it when a plan comes together.\u201d As America and the world seems to be coming into a deeper state of chaos, it certainly appears scriptural prophesy is happening as we watch and God\u2019s plan is coming together. Scripture indicates in numerous verses, God is a planner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Numerous examples exist of Bible prophesy and current world events. To consider a few of the most obvious is an interesting area of study for the Judeo-Christian and a real eye-opener for non-believers. I have asked congregations to simply consider the evidence before making a decision and be fair and reasonable concerning what they are willing to believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One glaring example of prophesy currently happening is in Revelation, chapter thirteen. One implication very strongly suggests there will be, in the last days, a one world government. That concept is based partly on the scriptural prophesy, \u201call the world will follow the beast\u201d which indicates a one world leader and consequently a one world government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Revelation 13: 4 tells us the Dragon (Satan) will give power to the Beast (Antichrist). Verse six indicates the Beast will blaspheme God while 2 Thessalonians 2: 4 suggests the antichrist will speak from the temple in Jerusalem. As of now, that temple does not exist and for that scripture to be fulfilled will have to be rebuilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We see America moving at an exponential rate toward open borders, inclusion and diversity, destruction of freedoms and the elimination of official and self-protection. For a one world government to function, a totalitarian system must exist in a world of eight billion people (Totalitarianism permits no individual freedom and seeks to control aspects of individual life by the authority of the state).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many believe Revelation 13: 16 (mark of the beast) indicates in the last days there will be a one-world currency. The use of credit cards and currency types being changed electronically could be a fulfilling of that assumption. An American can use a credit card in Europe; then when the statement arrives, the charge has been changed from Euros to U.S. dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These three implications from Revelation thirteen may be happening right before our very eyes at this moment. The uninformed, however, are not aware of Bible teachings and have no perception of what is happening all around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus prophesied in the last days there would be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places (Matthew 24: 7). Because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many are predicting a world food shortage. Several high ranking American politicians are among those. A recent statistic states 136 million people on the African continent are literally starving right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recent increase of fuel and fertilizer costs will likely cause a decrease in production and distribution of food products. Farmers around the world, without the possibility of sustaining their families will cease to produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While covid has taken nearly six-million lives, the birth rate has exceeded that number. The virus has only created a bump in the road for the out-of-control birth rate in our world. As the population increases, the planet will be severely taxed to provide sustenance for those increasing numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This could result in crime as the world has never seen. People will likely be killed for a morsel of rice or beans. These circumstances could lead to the rapture and the beginning of the tribulation, (Daniel 9: 27 and 12: 11). Jesus spoke of the tribulation in Matthew 24: 21. Many of His other prophesies in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21) have happened or are happening now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With new diseases among us, we are seeing prophesies concerning pestilences happening. HIV, covid and monkeypox are a few. A resurgence of polio, measles, whooping cough and others have appeared in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recent flooding and loss of life in Eastern Kentucky may also be a manifestation of the pestilence prophesy or could be a fulfillment of Luke 21: 25. Floods have become common in many parts of the world and it appears a large part of the world is either experiencing drought or flooding. Droughts are creating circumstances resulting in wildfires and we can classify those as pestilences. And, of course, droughts and other weather extremes have devastating effects on food availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we watch the governments of the world continue to exist in a state of disorganized uncertainty, it has become evident a progression of events is taking place. Many of the actions seem to be moving toward a new world order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We may think it can\u2019t happen that fast, but would we have thought ten years ago, America would be in this state today? The question for the Christian: should we be alarmed at this sequence of events and have fear of the future? The unequivocal answer I will offer for this question is: God is on the throne and in control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am one of the most skeptical people in the world. I have to see \u201cit\u201d before my very eyes and then sometimes I doubt what I\u2019m seeing. Proof is within the mind of the beholder but the evidence is so strong and abundant, we must wake up and realize what is happening in our country and in our world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Israel is once again a nation (Ezekiel 36: 24) and the nations of this world have the capability of reducing this planet to a cinder (Zechariah 14: 12). The circumstances are in existence and the signs are right. We cannot doubt the possibility of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 happening very soon. \u201cFor the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is sad to consider the pawns in this scenario that are fulfilling the will of God; they haven\u2019t a clue. Many of us have come to believe God uses non-believers. In seeing this progression of events, we must realize the urgency of proclaiming Christ to a lost world. Those promoting a new world order have no idea they are fulfilling prophesy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have found when people, in many cases, hear the fundamental of the Gospel, they embrace it. Christ Jesus crucified for the remission of sin and resurrected is simple enough for anyone to understand. It is a certain fact if Christians do not share the love of our Savior, no one will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I once believed America was God\u2019s chosen nation to evangelize the world. That belief is crumbling as this situation of self-destruction continues to develop. God chooses nations just as He chooses individuals to do His work. Did He not choose Israel to provide a Savior for the world? Perhaps the time has come for God\u2019s plan to be finalized and the fulfillment of Revelation 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is also possible the United States of America, and possibly the world, is in a state of Divine wrath. If so, could that state of wrath be a part of His plan? In that we have progressively strayed from the teachings of God, as in Sodom and Gomorrah, Divine punishment would be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the world has become accepting of sinful actions and attitudes, the more blinded we\u2019ve become. Many Christians have become complacent and accepting of sinful practices (Isaiah 5: 20) and God most certainly is aware of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The final word for all Christians is this: Do not be afraid! God is in control and His will most certainly will be done. We\u2019ve seen this happen too many times already.
