Many of the dogs were found malnourished as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several pieces of equipment were found at both locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Veterinarians said it is consistent with dogfighting and baiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g38I7NViHVI\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of sixteen dogs were rescued and are being treated at the local humane society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheriff Carmine Marceno said the Animal Cruelty Task Force has arrested 148 cases and arrested 26 people related to those crimes since it launched in 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A father and son were arrested on animal cruelty charges in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday night.
