A proud transplant of Lehigh Acres for the past 9 years.&nbsp; Arriving here with my wife.&nbsp;I am running for District 77 House of Representatives for Lehigh Acres and San Carlos Park.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"648\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/e-englehart-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52672\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Since being in Lehigh Acres working in collaboration with Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office, County, and State officials we have constructed a neighborhood my family, friends, and neighbors can be proud of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Reducing illegal dumping<\/li><li>Keeping wildlife and County properties preserved<\/li><li>Reducing costs to rebuild waterways and preserving them for their time of need&nbsp;<\/li><li>Keeping our neighborhood clean<\/li><li>Reducing crime in our area<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy working with our communities and leaders and encourage them to participate in our region.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"586\" height=\"428\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yard-signs.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52673\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As a child I grew up around this Great Country and eventually moved to New England as an adult,\u00a0attending Franklin Pierce College Criminal Justice Program.\u00a0 I have 2 adult children who are my pride and joy.\u00a0 \u00a0They have continued my passion for community leadership and public service.\u00a0 I have always felt the need to lead those around me in a positive direction.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dist-77.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52674\" width=\"368\" height=\"452\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With this being said as a candidate of District 77 I would like to help my neighbors in Lehigh Acres and San Carlos Park to feel more empowered to be a part of their communities and beyond.\u00a0 I feel we are all part of an intricate web of the commonwealth.\u00a0 I would like to keep our tax monies in our communities to help with this great community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;My Motto:&nbsp; \u201cSee something, say something, do something\u201d.&nbsp; This was taught growing up by my Mother a Midwestern Teacher, a pillar in her community, and advocate.&nbsp; Teaching me My Midwestern values.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will do my very best to serve Lehigh Acres and San Carlos Park: My neighbors, My society, and I hope to say, my comrades, to strive for a Great Quality of life and quality of the community as I represent this district.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eric Engelhart&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Democratic Candidate for District 77&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lehigh Acres and San Carlos Park<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>603-359-5410<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proud Lehigh Acres Resident&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.voteforericengelhart.com\">www.voteforericengelhart.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Name is Eric Engelhart.
