{"id":52013,"date":"2022-01-17T19:25:08","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T00:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=52013"},"modified":"2022-01-17T19:25:26","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T00:25:26","slug":"red-cross-continues-to-provide-assistance-to-those-affected-by-tornados-in-fort-myers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2022\/01\/red-cross-continues-to-provide-assistance-to-those-affected-by-tornados-in-fort-myers\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Cross Continues to Provide Assistance to Those Affected by Tornados in Fort Myers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since early yesterday morning, volunteers from the American Red Cross Florida Gulf Coast to Heartland Chapter have been coordinating with emergency officials to respond to the severe weather and tornado damage in Fort Myers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Red Cross has 27&nbsp;volunteers and staff on the ground&nbsp;and since last night have&nbsp;provided&nbsp;nearly 300 meals to those impacted with two emergency response vehicles canvassing the affected areas providing additional meals to those that remain in their homes.
