Work is scheduled to start early next year and the school will open to students in August of 2023.<br><br><strong>The community meeting will involve a presentation from the construction and design team, plus an opportunity for parents to ask questions. Lehigh Acres Middle School is located at 651 Sunrise Blvd.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost of the project was covered by the voter-approved half-cent sales tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction is expected to start early next year with the school set to open for students in august of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee County schools also laid out a 10-year plan that calls for two new middle schools and a new high school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The School District of Lee County is preparing to start construction of a new elementary school in Lehigh Acres and inviting the community to learn more about the campus.
