The student admitted to taking his father\u2019s gun from his bedroom a day before the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 14-year-old said he purposefully left the magazine and ammunition behind because he only wanted to scare the other student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An arrest report shows the teen planned to use an orange pullover mask to hide his face before threatening the other student with the unarmed gun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The intended victim did not show up to school on that day, deputies said. He was released on bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aparicio admitted the gun his son brought to school was his, according to the arrest report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 48-year-old was previously handed a felony conviction for driving offenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is facing charges of improper storage of a firearm and two counts of possession of a firearm\/ammunition by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Lee County father was arrested after his teenage son allegedly brought a gun to Riverdale High School in Fort Myers on November 5.
