{"id":50958,"date":"2021-10-19T12:31:03","date_gmt":"2021-10-19T16:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=50958"},"modified":"2021-10-19T12:31:11","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T16:31:11","slug":"did-you-know-91","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2021\/10\/did-you-know-91\/","title":{"rendered":"Did you know?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Paul Waldmiller<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that Governor Ron DeSantis recently stated at a press conference that he would sue Joe Biden and his administration regarding a mandate on businesses to vaccinate, or test workers for COVID-19?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/STX3I6VXEZF3PMQTLXFDROAHT4-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50959\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same press conference, DeSantis also suggested Florida legislators may need to pass a law to prevent businesses from imposing their own mandates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DeSantis\u2019 comments came during his press conference held in Fort Myers last Thursday where he exclaimed his hard work to make accessible monoclonal antibody treatments to help inhibit severe COVID-19 infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI think that the mandate is going to lose in court,\u201d DeSantis declared, during his press conference regarding the federal mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, Joe Biden publicly announced that he would require businesses with more than 100 workers to mandate employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine or show weekly negative test results.
