An infant was also left seriously injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford F150 collided with a Toyota sedan on Williams Avenue and West 9th Street. They said the car was sent off the road and into a stop sign and tree. They said the truck, that was pulling a trailer, overturned on the shoulder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For five hours, crash investigators worked the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The car was heavily damaged with shattered windows, airbags all deployed, the body bashed in, but a father and his young son inside survived. They are in the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The man inside the truck was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected on impact and killed. Another person in the truck survived and is in the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends who knew the passengers in the truck stopped by throughout the day to try and make sense of what happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some with tears in their eyes said Williams Avenue and 9th Street in Lehigh is a dangerous road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florida Highway Patrol said it\u2019s critical everyone in every car wear a seatbelt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 63-year-old man has been ejected from a car and killed in a Lehigh Acres crash Thursday morning.
