He was also sentenced to 5 years in prison for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and 15 years in prison for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The sentences are to be served concurrently. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a report of multiple shots fired. A man had been shot multiple times, while in the backseat of a car, as it was backing out of a driveway. The shooter had been hiding in nearby bushes. The victim died on the scene.
