The motorcycle slid for about 100 feet before it caught fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"383\" height=\"362\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/BFF.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/BFF.png 383w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/BFF-300x284.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 383px) 100vw, 383px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The crash happened near Lee Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fernandez fled but was caught about 50 feet away from the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He faces charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 24-year-old Lehigh Acres man was arrested on Friday after losing control of his motorcycle, crashing and then trying to flee.
