Apparently, some Floridians are frustrated with their elected representatives and the official decisions and votes that they are making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Martin County, with what appears to be a string of violent threats posted on social media against elected officials, County City Commissioner Troy McDonald recently shared his fears of being threatened after he and other commissioners voted for a new Costco store to be built.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuart police were made aware of a post in an anti-Costco Facebook group that stated the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201c<em>Bring tar and feathers for the city commissioners? Post their home addresses, pictures of their home&nbsp;&nbsp; addresses, pictures of their cars, license plates, kids, family?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police said they looked into the post but decided the post did not warrant a deeper investigation of criminal charges placed against the person who person making the online statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that there appears to be an uptick of violent threats against Florida county commissioners and school board members?
