{"id":50090,"date":"2021-08-17T13:02:53","date_gmt":"2021-08-17T17:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=50090"},"modified":"2021-08-17T13:03:03","modified_gmt":"2021-08-17T17:03:03","slug":"did-you-know-82","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2021\/08\/did-you-know-82\/","title":{"rendered":"Did you Know?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Paul Waldmiller<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that The Center for Disease Control recently and incorrectly reported data related to COVID-19 infection rate here in Florida?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDC reported that Florida had a record 28,317 new cases on August 8<sup>th<\/sup> in addition to 120 deaths. This follows more than 134,000 cases of COVID-19 reported by the state, just a week before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Florida Department of Health later tweeted that Sunday\u2019s correct number of new cases was only 15,3019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though Florida has exceeded other comparable states in battling COVID-19, Governor DeSantis has not mandated masks for students and others throughout the state. He has left in place his executive order placing fines upon those government and school officials who mandate masks or \u201cvaccine passports.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Joe Biden and Governor DeSantis have exchanged verbal attacks upon one-another regarding COVID-19 restrictions. Biden favors mandating masks and vaccines, while also using the U.S. Military and to force vaccines on Americans. Biden\u2019s National Security Administration (U.S. spy agency) has recently come out with a report stating that those who refuse COVID-19 vaccines are possible \u201cterrorists.\u201d DeSantis however stated that he wants every Floridian to have the choice to, or not take the vaccine, or wear a mask.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that The Center for Disease Control recently and incorrectly reported data related to COVID-19 infection rate here in Florida?
