These reported numbers were given by only willing participants and many Americans did not either report accurate numbers, or report at all during the 2020 census. Most likely, the actual number of American homes that include fathers of children are only 66%, or two-thirds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Fatherhood Initiative,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Children of fatherless homes are 4 times higher at risk for poverty.<\/li><li>Children of fatherless homes are more likely to have behavioral problems.<\/li><li>Children of fatherless homes are 2 times greater risk of infant mortality.<\/li><li>Fatherless children are more likely to go to prison.<\/li><li>Fatherless children are more likely to commit crime.<\/li><li>Children <a>of fatherless homes <\/a>are 7 times more likely to become pregnant as a teen.<\/li><li>Children of fatherless homes are more likely to face abuse and neglect.<\/li><li>Children of fatherless homes are more likely to abuse alcohol and use drugs.<\/li><li>Children of fatherless homes are 2 times more likely to suffer obesity.<\/li><li>Fatherless children are 2 times more likely to drop out of high school.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the Obama Administration, there has been a rejection for an establishment of a \u201cWhitehouse Office of Boys and Men\u201d to address the fatherless home crisis and lack of fatherhood involvement. This office would have addressed the interference from Government and non-government groups involved in barring fathers from the lives of their children. This same negative White House policy was also evident during the Trump, as well currently seen in the Biden Administration. Here in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis nor the Florida Legislature has taken up any legislation to help with the crisis of fatherless homes across our state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that there has been a growing fatherhood crisis across America?
