Two awards will be awarded to Riverdale High School students, four to Lehigh Senior High School students, and 15 to East Lee County High School students. Six awards, for a total of $17,852, go to renewed scholarships so students can continue their college education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students receiving scholarships are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Riverdale High School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Kimberly Rice $5,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Kaitlyn Skinner $2000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lehigh Senior High School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Gia Escorcha $5,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Durland Bundy $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Jonathan Kelly $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Yasminie Sahadeo $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>East Lee County High School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Skylar Dushek $5,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Jonathan Hernandez $5,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Kedrin Altamirano $4,800<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Sharen Barthelemy $2,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Ana Vanessa Cruz $2,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Diana Echevarria $2,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Jacqueline Llanes $2,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Nimslha Massolas $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Deisy Mejia $2,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Axel Arias $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Jennifer Cabrera-Partido $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Gabriel Johnson $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Anthony Sierra $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Andy Travieso $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Virginia Valentin $2,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These scholarships are made possible by the customers at the Kiwanis Thrift Store at 15 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres. This was an unusual year for the students as the Key Clubs at the high schools could not meet in person and virtual meetings were a challenge. Kiwanis congratulates the graduating seniors at all of our area high schools and offer our best wishes as they continue their education or join the workforce upon graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres meets Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. for breakfast at El Tarasco Restaurant in Lehigh Acres.
