Sheyla is passionate about making the STEM fields more accessible and has served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for UF\u2019s chemistry department since her freshman year. A hardworking student, she is on track to graduate with honors in 2022. She describes swimming as her first love and recently became a Florida Club Swim &amp; Dive team member. During her downtime, she loves solving jigsaw puzzles, hiking, and soaking up all the beauty that Florida has to offer by visiting any one of Florida\u2019s freshwater springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Girlbossing Inc., as the Florida USA Organization, will produce and conduct the Sunshine State\u2019s oldest and most celebrated competition this coming July 2021 to qualify two young ladies from Florida to advance to either Miss Teen USA or Miss USA and ultimately Miss Universe. &nbsp;All competition details are available at www.MissFloridaUSA.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sponsored prize package includes over $100,000 in gifts, cash and scholarships for both Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA including the official&nbsp;crown and sash, round trip air fare to MISS USA\/MISS TEEN USA,&nbsp;an official competition evening gown, official crown portrait, fitness coaching, skin care, hair care and much more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe actively encourage young women in the state of Florida to give back in their communities and advocate for issues they feel passionately towards.&nbsp; Our organization is committed to providing new opportunities for women in media, entertainment, modeling, fashion, beauty and more, at our events throughout the year, and the actual weekend of competition,\u201d said Girlbossing Inc.
