They began at 11 am with the call of &#8220;No Justice, No Peace &#8221; and &#8220;George Floyd matters&#8221; as they walked west on&nbsp;Lee Boulevard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s deputies blocked off roads for the marchers as they crossed safely through intersections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signs they carried included &#8220;Good cops need to police bad cops,&#8221; &#8220;Stop the hate&#8221; and a young boy carrying a red sign reading &#8220;We are the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/LEHIGHPROTEST.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46958\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/LEHIGHPROTEST.jpg 540w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/LEHIGHPROTEST-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At least one protester raised his right fist as he walked,&nbsp;a symbol of solidarity and support. It is also used as a salute to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance.
