But he says 60% of Floridians live in places with inclusive, nondiscrimination protections.<br><br>&#8220;Florida has really been not just a Southern leader but national leader in advocating for LGBTQ communities,&#8221; says Casey. &#8220;(It) has been through achieving nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ communities at the local level.&#8221;<br><br>Casey credits grassroots efforts from groups like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eqfl.org\/\">Equality Florida<\/a>.<br><br>The report was released in partnership with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCq6OAftTQOuUBRdtUDq5SUA?utm_source=MAP+Newsletter&amp;utm_campaign=6cc3841d31-EMAIL_REPORT_2020SOUTHERNTALLY_2020_05_26&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=0_ec825b19cf-6cc3841d31-94140139\">Prideland, a short-form digital series on PBS Voices, now on YouTube<\/a>.
