Were you also aware that some Florida Counties such as\nAlachua have ordered all county residents to \u201cshelter in place\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roadblockstoleadership.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roadblockstoleadership.jpg 900w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roadblockstoleadership-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roadblockstoleadership-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some cities and counties outside of Florida have also\nordered all gun stores closed despite no connection between gun ownership and\nthe spread of the Wuhan Virus. In the State of Minnesota, the government there\nis tracking people\u2019s movement via their cell phones while here in Florida, a\nTampa \u201cpastor\u201d was arrested just yesterday for holding a church service the\nprevious Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a bizarre act, Governors and or Government leaders are\nreleasing convicted criminals including rapists and murderers from jails and\nprisons. California Governor just did this&#8211;he commuted the sentences of 26\nfelons including 10 murderers. His purported reasoning? Fear that inmates may\ncontract the Wuhan Virus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin once stated, \u201cThose\nwho would give up essential liberty&nbsp;to purchase a little temporary safety\ndeserve neither liberty nor safety\u201d. Benjamin Franklin may have been correct as\nwe see across America threats of fines levied and or incarceration for Oregonians\nwho \u201ccongregate more than 25 people&#8221;&nbsp;and for those who visit Florida\nbeaches. Some civil libertarians such as Harvard Law professor Glenn Cohen are\ngiving warning that they are watching the actions of our Government and their\ncourts. He stated that \u201cIn times of emergency \u2014 including public health\nemergency \u2013 the temptation to violate individual rights is at its greatest and\nthe courts have often been called on to defend the rights of the vulnerable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Trump (who is responsible for executive actions\nregarding Federal issues) recently decided against quarantining the States of\nNew York, New Jersey and Connecticut while the numbers of especially New York\nCity residents infected with the Wuhan Virus continues to explode in numbers.\nAt least on the Federal Government level, it would appear that President Trump\nis leaving limitations of Constitutional Rights of Americans to State leaders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller Did you know that because of the spread of the Wuhan (Corona-19) Virus, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has recently put roadblocks coming into the State?
