Did you know since the beginning of time, millions of people\nfrom around the world have died from viruses?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– In the Middle Ages, it is estimated that between 75 to 200\nmillion people died from the Black Plague.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– It is estimated that over 500 million people world-wide have\ndied from smallpox<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Measles affects approximately 20 million people, world-wide\nper year. In 1980, 2.6 million people died from Measles. In 1990, 545,000 died.\nDeaths from Measles increased from 2017 to 2019 due to what has been determined\nin the decreased number of people being immunized. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we have a new and emerging virus. The Coronavirus which\nhas been determined to have started in mainland China, has been rapidly growing\nworld-wide despite many governments, including the Chinese Government taking\nstrict actions to control it. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here in Florida we have one person possibly testing positive for\nthe Coronavirus. The State of Florida is not releasing that information, but it\nappears the State is taking the Coronavirus very serious as are also hospitals.\nA quarantine station has been put into place at the Miami International Airport\nand is staffed by the Center for Disease Control. Unfortunately, however, local\nhealth departments are remaining silent regarding who is infected and or what\nspecific efforts are being undertaken by Florida officials to ensure the public\nsafety and keep the Coronavirus from contaminating Florida residents. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No matter where you live, it would benefit everyone to utilize\nthe suggested CDC list of actions to prevent the Corona or any other\nvirus. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve listed them here:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20\nseconds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based\nhand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth\nwith unwashed hands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Avoid contact with people are sick.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Stay at home when you are sick.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–   Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the\ntissue in the trash.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and\nsurfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
