Following a multi-year comprehensive plan\namendment process that was approved by Lee County, Morris-Depew Associates\nsecured development permits for the 695-acre mixed-use project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"912\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Timber-Creek.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45715\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Timber-Creek.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Timber-Creek-300x274.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Timber-Creek-768x700.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximately\n40 acres will be used for mixed planned development, permitted for 250,000\nsquare feet of commercial uses, including 50,000 square feet of medical office\nand a 150-room hotel. The remaining 655-acre residential planned development\nwill be owned by the Lennar Corporation and offer a mix of single-family and\nmulti-family units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfirm&#8217;s efforts began with a full due diligence of the property and entitlement\nstrategy led by Planning Director Tina Ekblad, along with conceptual site\nplanning efforts by Director of Landscape Architecture Michael Ekblad.
