The \u2018Driven to Serve\u2019 program is an initiative between the two\norganizations and pairs available vehicles with service members in need. This\nis the eighth vehicle donated under the program since 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corporal Green served as a Machine Gunner for four years and\ndeployed to Iraq twice. While on a combat mission in 2003, his vehicle was\nstruck by an improvised explosive device, resulting in a traumatic brain injury\nas well as knee and shoulder damage, among other combat-related injuries.\nCorporal Green has received numerous awards for his service including the Rifle\nSharpshooter Badge, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and a\nPresidential Unit Citation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having a vehicle with no payment removes a huge financial\nburden from the Green family and will allow for easier travel to twice-weekly\nmedical appointments in Tampa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday,&nbsp;December 18 at 10 a.m.&nbsp;This event is\nnot open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Gettel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM &#8211; 2323 Tamiami Trail,\nPunta Gorda, FL 33950<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freedom Alliance and U.S. Bank share the same mission &#8211;\nhonoring service members for their dedication and personal sacrifice. Through Proud to Serve, each new veteran is personally welcomed\nby leaders who are also veterans. Employees are also encouraged to use internal\nsocial networking forums to connect, network and share stories.
