The current Five Fire Commissioners will not allow the Fire\nChief to run the Fire Department why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a paramilitary organization and the Chief’s in charge period but his agreement forces him to be quite or he could face being firing or else why? \u2026\u2026 NO board member will ask him openly in a public meeting what he needs to run the department, why? So, have one on one meetings with the chief and micromanage him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s talk about the Lehigh Acres Fire Department in general. Despite the fact that nearly half of female candidates pass the physical tests,\u00a0less than 4%<\/a>\u00a0of today\u2019s firefighters are women.\u00a0America\u2019s first known woman firefighter, a slave named\u00a0Molly Williams<\/a>, became a part of the Oceanus\u00a0Engine\u00a0Company #11 nearly 200 years ago. But Lehigh Acres Fire department it\u2019s less than 1% (5 females to a total of 93 of the rank and file.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently the Lehigh Acres Gazette got a copy of the Equal\nEmployment Opportunity Commission EEO-4 report for Lehigh Acres Fire dept dated\n08-28-2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Race \/ Ethnicity —- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dept has 111 employees Hispanic or Latino 19 male 5 female, non-\nHispanic Male 60 white, 12 black, 7 of two or more races. non- Hispanic Female\n7 white, 1 of two or more races. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harmless pranks are one thing, one source said in the Department, “They\u2019d put the IV bag in the ceiling with the needle dripping down so it\u2019d drip on someone\u2019s head on and off all night long. Or they\u2019d send a rookie for some fictitious tool on one of the rigs and they would look for hours.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the other harmless pranks, there are also\nstunts that more closely resemble something you\u2019d see in a fraternity.\n“There\u2019s stuff you can\u2019t even talk about,” the source says. We\u2019ll let\nyou use your imagination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember the Lee County Sheriff investigation of the Lehigh\nAcres Fire Department of one of the Firefighter was a so-call member of a gang\ncalled the Black\nPistons<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember Former Firefighter Pinheiro<\/a> arrested for gun charges in Cape Coral and later he was let go by Lehigh Acres fire after attacking an LCSO V.O.I.C.E Officer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
