Lehigh Acres&#8217; population reached 116,849 people in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Homestead Base, which had 99 of 109 households receiving food stamps, 64.6 percent more than Lehigh Acres. In 2017 the population of Homestead Base was 843.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Allentown, which had 1 of 421 households receiving food stamps, 26 percent less than Lehigh Acres.
