Undoubtedly on the morning of September 25th, 2019 (known as\n&#8220;Dads Take Their Kids To School Day&#8221;), you will see cars lined up\nwith happy dads dropping their children off at their school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"448\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/3d1aa25c30fbcc9ed9e37dfa77a55a4d.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44831\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/3d1aa25c30fbcc9ed9e37dfa77a55a4d.jpg 720w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/3d1aa25c30fbcc9ed9e37dfa77a55a4d-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, the numbers of fathers taking their kids to school\nwill be less than in years past as America continues on a path of removing dads\nfrom the home. In the U.S, there are approximately 65 million men who identify\nthemselves &#8220;fathers&#8221;. Of that number, only 27 million men are part of\na family home where they are married and have children under the age of\neighteen living there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An estimated 33% of American children do not live with their\nbiological father. Although some fathers are given minimal \u201cparenting time\u201d via\nthe unconstitutional \u201cfamily law\u2019 industry, very often fathers spending time\nwith their biological children at or during school time will be minimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to other studies, we know that children growing up\nwithout their biological father causes delinquent behavior and mental health\nissues for those children who, by the time they are adults, are more likely to\nbecome active in crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clearly, America has a \u201cdad crisis.\u2019 Children need loving\nfathers, much as they also need loving mom\u2019s as well. Children do best when\nthey have two loving parents involved in their life. While we live in a day and\nage of \u201cno fault\u201d divorce, children\u2019s mental and spiritual well-being is often\nignored whenever a break-up occurs between parents. Children should not suffer\nthe wrath of an angry spouse, no matter the reasoning. Using a child as a\n\u201cweapon\u201d is wrong, but in America, \u201cself\u201d seems to be of most importance, no\nmatter the consequences for others including children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children are exposed to so much trauma such as school\nshootings, bullying and the drug epidemic. \u201cDads, Take Your Child To School\nDay\u201d should be a day everyone should encourage and support.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the children, first!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Paul Waldmiller What a joyous day when a proud parent takes his or her child to school!
