We don\u2019t have a choice.\nWe have three stations that need repair, plus the long-overdue need for an\nadditional station on north Sunshine Boulevard to decrease response times. We\nare one of only two fire departments in the county that has our own ambulance\nservice,\u201d Dilallo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#290aef\" class=\"has-text-color\"><strong>Residential homes will be $ 351.38<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2015 \u2013 $292.00 &nbsp;&nbsp;2016 \u2013 $292.00 &nbsp;&nbsp;2017 \u2013\n$303.97&nbsp; &nbsp;2018 \u2013 $332.15&nbsp; &nbsp;Now 2019 \u2013 $351.38 a 16.8%\nincrease in 4 years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe only fix to this is to put the special assessment\nreferendum back on the ballot in 2020, but even then it would not come into\neffect until our 2021\/2022 budget year,\u201d Dilallo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rumors are flying off the shelves &#8230;&#8230;will the fire commissioner wait until the 2020 November ballot or spend another $100,000 on a special election to change and increase your fire assessment again\u2026\u2026.
