A partnering agency, The Freedom Tour, is delivering the load to North\nCarolina. The load includes 720 family food boxes and bottled water. Each\nfamily food box contains enough food to feed a family of four for four to five\ndays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Midwest Food Bank Florida worked with Agape\nFlights to help Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. A load of generators,\nblankets, toilet paper and other supplies left the MFB Florida warehouse on Thursday,\nSeptember 5. The government of the Bahamas will not allow food to be brought\nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVolunteers who would like to fill family food boxes for\nfuture loads should watch our Facebook page for opportunities,\u201d says Karl\nSteidinger, Executive Director of Midwest Food Bank Florida. \u201cThose wishing to contribute\nfinancially should go to our website, midwestfoodbank.org. Financial donations\ngive us the ability to quickly respond to relief requests.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Midwest Food Bank has ten locations,&nbsp;eight&nbsp;in the\nUnited States, and one each in East Africa and Haiti.
