Motorists should use caution, as there may be\nlane closures in the work zone from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For further\nquestions, please call Dirk Danley at 239-533-9305.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SR 82 from Alabama Road to the Lee\/Hendry County line: Florida\nDepartment of Transportation Construction Project: Crews will be widening SR 82\nto four lanes from Alabama Road to the Lee\/Hendry County line. \u00b7 Motorists should expect\nintermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures on SR 82 during\nnighttime\/overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday\nthroughout the duration of the project, weather permitting. \u00b7 Motorists should expect\nHedgewood Street closed through Friday, August 30. \u00b7 Motorists should expect Kalamar\nDrive closed through September 2019. Roadwatch Report August 22 \u2013 August 28,\n2019 Motorists &#8211; Please use caution when traveling in work zone areas Additional\nwork includes construction of a median separating two 12-foot travel lanes in\neach direction, 6.5-foot inside paved shoulders, bike lanes, a 5-foot sidewalk\non the north side and a 10-foot shared-use path on the south side. The project\nwill also add a grass median and LED lighting throughout this segment. The\nexpected completion date is end of 2020. The Contractor is Sacyr Construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alva Bridge: Lee County DOT will be performing bridge maintenance on\nthe Alva Bridge #120042 starting May 28, 2019 through September 16, 2019,\nweather permitting.
