This work will also improve drainage and install new\nunderground utilities. A six-foot sidewalk will be constructed on both sides of\nthe roadway. Motorists should expect lane closures during daytime hours.\nProject cost is $14.4 million. The contractor is Stevens and Layton, Inc. The\nproject is expected to be complete by early 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lehigh Acres Resurfacing Project : A Lee County DOT\ncontractor will be resurfacing the roads in the South East section of Lehigh\nAcres South of Leeland Heights\/Joel Boulevard and East of Homestead starting\nSunday, June 2, 2019 through October 2, 2019.
