{"id":44172,"date":"2019-08-13T15:54:05","date_gmt":"2019-08-13T19:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=44172"},"modified":"2019-08-13T15:54:14","modified_gmt":"2019-08-13T19:54:14","slug":"man-found-shot-multiple-times-late-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2019\/08\/man-found-shot-multiple-times-late-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Man found shot multiple times late Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/shooting-e1374245194665.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1357\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A shooting late Sunday in Lehigh Acres resulted in a man\nbeing taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office deputies on patrol in the\ncommunity responded to a call in the 500 block of Alabama Road and found the\nman suffering multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shooting happened between 9:39 and 9:45 p.m., a report\nfrom the Sheriff&#8217;s Office said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The man&#8217;s identity was withheld from the report because of Marsy&#8217;s Law constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report states \u00a0\u201cOn August 11, 2019, while on marked uniform patrol in Lehigh Acres, within Lee County Florida. Deputies Rouskey and Nicolas were dispatched to call in reference to a shooting at &#8220;<strong>redacted per<\/strong> <strong><em>Marsy&#8217;s Law<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arrival, deputies observed a black male laying on the\nground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies began to render first\naid until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to the Lee Memorial Hospital\nfor treatment. Due to the nature of the call, Sergeant G. Monmany arrived on\nscene who then notified WC Capt. Lalor. Violent Crime Sergeant D. Foraker,\nDetectives R. Lynn, K.
