She said they wanted to organize an event where local businesses\ncould come together and let the community know what services are offered in\ntheir own community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s\nan event where we are going to have free raffles, face painting for the kids, a\njump house, free haircuts for elementary school kids and some free school bags\nthat we are going to be giving out,&#8221; Vega said. &#8220;There is going to be\nfood for purchase. Puerto Rican food.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfree raffles include such items as a television, a trip a local travel agency\nis providing and a laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pelican\nMobile, frozen ices, will also be onsite for the activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nLatin radio station 97.7 will be on the grounds, as well as a DJ to provide\nentertainment for the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The\nhope is it will become an annual event,&#8221; Vega said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\nmore information, call (239) 340-8683.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two businesses are coming together this Saturday to put on the first Lehigh Community Fun Day, complete with food, raffles, and music.
