Bright Communications Manager on 6\/20\/2019 at 2:42 pm\nvia email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn regards to your observations at our Lehigh Acres Service\nCenter, our office emailed you indicating that all inquiries related to Lee\nCounty Sheriff\u2019s Office Deputies should be directed to that agency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lee County Tax Collector does not permit personal use of\nsocial media during work time.&nbsp; Any Lee County Tax Collector employee that\nhas access to social media during work time must use account(s) for business\nrelated activity.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since January 2018, the Lee County Tax Collector identified\na need for law enforcement presence in service centers.&nbsp; Lee County\nSheriff\u2019s Office has a standard Agreement for Extra Duty Detail Services\navailable for public inspection.&nbsp; Please coordinate with Lee County\nSheriff\u2019s Office directly to schedule a time to inspect their document.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is the Lee County Tax Collector office trying to pass the buck to the Sheriff\u2019s office? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lehigh Acres Gazette asked the following questions to\nLCSO: Who is the officer? Why is he on Facebook? What is the LCSO policy on\nsocial when at work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We received the following on 6\/24\/2019.
