She commented, &#8220;I don\u2019t suggest anyone eating at the Milton\nWendy\u2019s again&#8221;. Since then, the video has gone viral at 1.2 million views\nand more than 17 thousand shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many took to Facebook to comment on how disgusting\nthis was and how this teenage boy should be reprimanded, others found that all\nof this was a dramatic overreaction to immature teenage behavior.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless, with that much media attention, this unsanitary\nbehavior was difficult to ignore. A day after the incident occurred, inspectors\nfrom the Department of Business and Professional Regulation visited the Milton\nWendy&#8217;s (the restaurant did, in fact,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2019\/05\/24\/wendys-employee-takes-bath-in-kitchen-sink-restaurant-still-passes-inspection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pass<\/a>&nbsp;a routine sanitation inspection).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnj.com\/story\/news\/local\/2019\/05\/22\/viral-video-florida-wendys-milton-man-bathing-kitchen-sink\/3766235002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pensacola News Journal<\/a>, it appears that the employee was\nalso fired soon after. The paper was able to reach out to Carlisle&#8217;s (the\ncompany that owns this particular Wendy&#8217;s) marketing director Mike Johnson who\ncommented via email they are &#8220;taking this incident seriously and it is\nobviously totally unacceptable.
